NATUSTRITAL_v002_M3 installation [BMW M FESTIVAL]
NATUSTRITAL_v002_M3 installation for BMW M FESTIVAL
NATUSTRITAL is a site-specific installation exploring the convergence of three coexisting realities that simultaneously define human life today: nature, industrialism, and the digital world. Version “_v002_M3” is a continuation of this idea, created in the space of a former assembly hall at the Gdańsk Shipyard. A pure symbol of industrialism, through whose windows the viewer sees two key elements: a tree and shipyard cranes (industrial machines whose name refers to the animal world). In the enclosed space, in front of the windows, another, third window emerges. An LED screen acts as a portal between what is real and what is unreal. The heart of the installation is made of two red BMW car hoods. This symbolizes our relationship with the automotive industry as something much deeper than a means of transportation. Together with the screen and the windows, it creates a harmonious, geometric composition. Here, nature grows from the heart, disrupting geometry. The new harmony is based on dynamics. It is an emotion that, like nature, is impossible to completely control. The whole, along with the view from the windows, creates a multi-layered visual narrative.
The installation was presented as part of the BMW M Festival on August 1, 2026 in Gdańsk.
