M_003
M_003 – first concept of modular 3D printed shoe. What if we could adjust our shoes according to our planned activity? Change the elements of the shoe depending on whether we want to go for a walk around the city, run, go to the mountains. Or adjust the shoe depending on the outfit we want to match it to. The idea of the project was to create a shoe made of 2 or more parts, dividing it into the sole and upper part. The shoe upper was printed with a visible texture resembling a mesh. It is a breathable structure, like a mesh or knitted upper. Additionally, the shoe has a third element, which is a lace holder. Laces are something that is practically absent in current 3D shoe designs available on the market.
M_003 is a break from the trend of creating shoes only in the slip-on/clog option.
