A_984

A_984 is the first shoe designed for production using 3D printing. The first version was printed in Barcelona in December 2022 at the Footwearology space. Then presented at MICAM Milano in early 2023. What characterized the first project was the so-called “mixed texture”, i.e. combined FDM printing techniques, allowing visually to obtain the effect of various textures on the shoe’s surface. In early 2023, the second version was created, printed in the zulu kuki studio. The design has changed in terms of adaptation to the foot, type of material, printing parameters and color. The idea was to create a shoe that combines dynamic shapes inspired by motorcycles with the classic look of loafers (front part of the upper). It was tested by dancers to check its flexibility.
In 2024, information about the project was published in the book UNDOXXED “The Finest in Digital Lifestyle Culture”.
