E_017 [x ZELLERFELD]

E_017 – the first shoe design available commercially. On February 13, 2023, Zellerfeld opened its sales platform in BETA form. One of the 15 designs available on the site was the E_017 model designed by zulu kuki.

Description: A massive block, divided into segments and broken with shapes imitating wires. Architectural symmetry.

E_017 is a project that is my personal journey into the future. Somewhere between the questions bothering Motoko Kusanagi and Dolores Abernathy, brutalist visions of the future from Paul Tulett’s collection of photos, and the simplicity of Tesla Truck or Hyundai N Vision 74 shapes. 3D printed shoes are the future that is happening before our eyes. E stands for exoskeleton because like exoskeleton, 3D printed shoes are created for every individual shape of feet.

In 2023, the project received the “must have” award at the Łódź Design Festival.
In 2024, information about the project was published in the book UNDOXXED “The Finest in Digital Lifestyle Culture”.

The project has been published in places such as Hypebeast and Vogue.
