COPA STAR 50 [adidas x RELAB]

adidas x RELAB Copa Star 50

The goal of the project was to combine a football icon (Copa Mundial) with a pop culture icon (Superstar). The Copa Mundial’s leather upper was printed with a previously scanned design from the Superstar. The print is deliberately off-center, highlighting aspects of both models based on this imperfection, as well as the multi-layered nature of the design. It’s in the RELAB brand’s spirit to treat imperfections as aesthetic value. The sole comes from the F-50 model – a transparent sole that houses the sole of a football boot. This is how the COPA STAR 50 was created.

On July 2, a launch party took place in Warsaw, Poland.
